Drinking Water At Meal And Staying Hydrate


They is nothing wrong to drink some water during meal time.

Water is the next plentiful substance next to oxygen in the earth.

The human body composed at most 80% water. It is the main transport agent for food nutrients, hormones, enzymes and other secretions in the human body.

Everything on the earth is composed of water. Even the dry ground is not 100% dry. It contained some water. Drink water at meals and stay hydrate throughout the day.

Take every unimaginable plant growing on the earth. It consists mostly of water.

Why you may ask. It is because water is a transport agent in all systems. It mostly carry food nutrients and blood, including the oxygen we breathe round every internal cells of the body and at the same time emitting harmful substances or poisons including carbon dioxide.

When it comes to the human body, it seems this analogy of plants is true of the human body also. I do not have a dry bone in me. Do you have such a bone? Every cell, every nerve and muscles of my body including my skin and hair is wet with water to some limits, and it needs to be kept moist all the time. Water provided the answer according to nutrition basics. Or what do you think else?

Dehydration
When plants and vegetables start to dehydrate, what I notice first is the loss of leaves or texture.  I probably cannot replace the losses. Nature will take its course in that.

If the young flowering plant just started to wilt, I can help by putting in some water.

But I can replaced the lost of water in my body in many ways including drinking water regularly before, at meals and after meals, and when tasty in many other ways like taking a cup of tea or a dilute juice of real 100% orange or apple.

When I do not drink enough water or I do not replaced any loss of water in my body, for example water lost through urination, perspiration, breathing out, lost of blood via, a wound and excretion, my body becomes dehydrated with serious consequent.

The Need To Drink Water

·         It will help you stay your body weight; or you may employ it to lost weight or gain weight.

·         It will help you digest, absorb and assimilate the foods you eat. The water you drink will help transport food nutrients all over the body. If I do not drink enough water, I lost the full benefits of nutrients in the foods I eat, right?

·         Drinking enough water regulates the body temperature.

·         To avoid constipation, drink some water whether you are tasty or not regularly.

·         The wastes in the bowel need water to be kept moist and excrete out of the body.

·         Early morning water drinking help flush the belly of digestive residues.

·         Your digestive juices and internal secretions or hormone is entirely of water.

·         The blood is more than 80% water.

·         Digested foods need some water for mixing for the right consistency.

·         Drinking water just for the taste of it will help speed up your metabolic rate if you are extremely fat person and break down adipose tissues.

·         This zero into lowering the blood pressure if it is about 97/87 or 97 over 87. Such a blood pressure is high.

Drinking Water At Meals

Some persons do not like to drink water at meal time. They think they may not get to eat and enjoy enough of the nice and delicious meal. We all know drinking too much water before meal and at meal time will make us eat less of the meal. But one can avoid the problem by having a mouthful of water instead of gulping down a glass of water. A sip here and there can help matters much.

I do not see any reason and common sense to drink a full glass of water as you eat unless you are a person on a weight loss program. I also do not see any point in drinking a litre of water before the chop plate. This reduced your intake of the meal; and also points to the fact that what you eat and digested is not rightly absorbed into the blood stream. In other words, too much water has dispersed the nutrients and failing to form a right dilution that can be absorb and assimilate. So one easily loss weight by the body speeding up the metabolic rate.

Although water will help you digest the food you are eating, you should drink half or a full glass 30 to 60 minutes before eating. This prepares or lubricates your digestive system for the meal. And it will wash your belly 30 minutes before you start to eat.

Then during the meal period, have a sip often after chewing at most three mouthfuls of the meal, if need be. This diluted the chunks you swallow down. A solution that is found by drinking one or two glass of water is bad. It means you are not getting enough from the meal as already said above.

The Right Balance

One digestive secretion released in the mouth during mealtime is saliva. It contains the digestive enzyme pyatin or mucous. It lubricated the food and brings out the taste. It even helps moist the food particle one is chewing. Drinking too much water at meal destroys all these or neutralized the chemical actions.

Other secretions in the body like insulin are also negatively affected by drinking too much water at meals. 

One should strike the right balance in all these. So the secretion of insulin when too much sugar gets into the blood stream is not delivering the beneficial impact. Drinking too much water negated all these.

Stay Hydrated

 I drink some of water during the day to stay hydrated. I do not mean I just drink bottles after bottles of water. I do not go on one glass after glass of water. Even when I am very thirsty after a mile of jogging routine as an example, I sip half a glass!

Please, do misunderstand me here. My body badly needs water. I have to control the intake. My liver needs to be taking good care off, and that is my responsibility and not another persons. While you see, this organ regulates the water in our body. Any excess is removed via, urination; and taking in more than necessary is giving the liver extreme work to do. It will become under functional in such cases of extreme work and a health risk will result.

Than after about 10 minutes or so, I will suck two orange and chew a sugar cane. Remember the fruits and root has some pure and ionized waters!

Next, after washing my body, I will eat a good meal consisting of carbohydrates, some fats and more protein for the muscles plus green leafy vegetables. The later again provide natural water. I do mind sipping some water along with the meal, and after the meal and to drink three mouthful and rest.

Within an hour or so, I should be thirsty. I will drink a half glass of water to replaced all loses during the jogging period. If I am tasty again, a cup of tea is okay for me with added milk and brown sugar. You see, I should do everything possible to keep my body weight intact and not to go under or above.

So far, I would still need a sip here and there to keep hydrated due to the fact that much action is going on in my body especially with the muscles. They need sugar, protein, and other food nutrient and have to be transport the water as the main solvent. The muscular secretions need water and much more.

I keep a big bottle 1 litre of water for this and I have to use it up before I go to bed at 9.00PM. Taking a sip often and also along with my snacks and other meals will help much in keeping me hydrated.

Do not underestimate the power of water in the internal working of the human body. The human body is 80% water and this corresponds to the percentage of water in the blood which is about 80%.

Water Diets

Water is food. Many persons will not understand this. Because we usual think of food as containing carbon, hydrogen and oxygen atoms, whether these are starch (sugar), fats and proteins, water lacks the carbon atom. So some say it is not food.

However, classifications of food into carbon, hydrogen and oxygen atom (CHO) do not meet any scientific challenge like the Dalton Atomic theory. But we do know for sure that proteins have an extra chain like sulphur or nitrogen along with CHO atoms. This did not fall within the basic scientific definition. This accounts for their unique amino acid contents.  Then, we realize that some poor souls that hardly get enough animal or fish protein as required make this out by combination or excessive use of only one class of food for a limited period of time until things settle down. The synthesis of protein from excessive use of carbohydrates and or fats is yet to be explained clearly by science.

Any time one is thirsty, it calls for something to eat or drink whether it is just a meal, a bottle of drink or water. This I reason put water rightly among foods.

You see water rightly contains only oxygen and hydrogen atoms. Chances are that it can combine with metabolic breakdown of adipose tissues to form a food. The breakdown is oxidizing to release some sort of energy. This will make a person not hungry during the interim period.

Or how do you go on to explain the phenomenon?

Here are some ways to keep well hydrate all day.

1.      After your last meal at evening or night and before going to bed to sleep drink half a glass of water.

2.      During sleep, you make wake up to urinate. Drink half a glass of water.

3.      Any time during sleep that you feel tossing to and from, try to wake up and drink half a glass of water again.
4.      On waking up fully from sleep in the morning, drink a full glass of water whether you are thirsty or not.
5.      For your pre-breakfast cut and squeeze a lime or lemon juice into a glass of water and drink this.
6.      During the main breakfast, drink half a glass of water by sipping a little here and there during the meal.
7.      Snack a cup of cucumber, water melon or any of your favorite fruits with vegetables along with half a glass of water. Remember the foods you eat have water. Even the dry air you breathe is moist with water.
8.      Do the same likewise during lunch time and mid afternoon.
In this way, you are likely to drink 1 litre of water in a day and you stay truly hydrated.

Health Benefits

·         Increased energy output. You will realize you do not get tires easily.
·         Your blood pressure will fall to the normal level.
·         You will never constipate.
·         After midnight signs of fever and headache which is most common gone or reduced.
·         Your skin becomes well supple due to transport of food nutrients.
·         Your muscles including joints will work well.
·         If you are fat, you lost weight; a thiny person can gain weight and you may wonder why.
·         And many much more health benefit like the body cleansing itself and getting rid of diseases.

Limitations Of Water Therapy And Its Imports To Good Health




Water therapy falls under two specific heading. 

These are the ayurvedic and Japanese water therapies. 

But any attempt to drink only a glass or two of water very early in the morning should be consider as water therapy.

Just drinking a glass or two of water when one rise up from sleep in the morning regularly and when one is not experiencing any bodily pain is a good health plus.

Water therapy in specific term use only water to treat disease or ill-health. It implies one should drink some glasses of waters early in the morning on waking up from sleep. The ayurvedic or the Japanese water therapy says drink 1 liter or four glass of water respectively when you rise from sleep in the morning.

The Japanese water therapy specified that you drink warm water and not cold water. It is an oriental custom to drink warm liquid in the morning. In the west, it is always cold water. But persons who adopt oriental customs will use warm water.

Even if you just drink one or two glass of water, it is a kind of water treatment. It will do your body a lot of good and you are on your way to enjoying good health.

I like practicing just taking a glass or two glasses of water regularly when I wake up from sleep.

My intention first in this is to cleanse my tummy of the previous night meals or the remains of digestion. You see it is like cleaning a dirty plate that one use to chop in the night. I wash and clean last night plates so I can reuse it for the morning meals or next meals of the day.

More so, it helps flush my digestive tracts in addition of keeping my excretory system in good working condition.

So just drink a glass or two of water cold or warm, whichever you prefer to flush your colon or digestive system. This action also helps to touch other systems of the body and work it to be in better condition of health.

I intend also to re-hydrate my body of any dehydration effect that occurred during the night while soundly asleep in bed. For example, you sweat during sleep and it is a sign that you lose some water. What about when you wake up to urinate at say 1.00AM? This is another lose of water from the body; and it should be replaced.

In sum, let’s see benefits in drinking water very early in the morning:
·         It maintained the water balance of the body due to de-hydration.
·         It flushed and cleansed the digestive tracts and keeps it healthy.
·         It maintained excretory health.
·         It maintained respiratory and immune healthy and making it very strong against virus attack.
·         Cures specific diseases like diabetes, high blood pressure, asthma, stomach ulcers and weight reduction.
·         Re-hydrates the body of much need water.
·         And much more treats stroke, cancer, various ulcers and so on. 
W  Water is the best solvent for poison and waste in the body and a taste reliever.

So far, do one goes on drinking 1 litre of water or four glasses of water every day in the morning on rising up from bed after a good night sleep?

I do not see any reason in doing so. Exception is when one has an issue of ill-health like high blood pressure or diabetes. Here you drink 1 litre daily up to a week and over until the issue ends.

An overweight person can drink 1 litre daily and walk or jog half a mile two or three times in the week. This will help burn down body fat easily. 

There were days I cut a lime or lemon squeeze it in a glass of water and sip it slowly down my throat. I take another glass of water, cut another lime into it and drink the dilute tonic stuff down. 

I even chew a cup of cucumber fruit along with this lime or lemon juice. It will do the same good thing and a plus as the water therapy in flushing and cleansing my digestive track.

Limitations Of Water Therapy 

Every good thing has its limitation. Good health has a limit and if you take it too far in stirring at the computer monitor all day long, you will get more than three-fold issues like bad eye sight, neck and back pain, plus waist pain.

The same thing can be said of water therapy. It is at its best when employed to treat a disease. We can sooner or later see the effect of the treatment, recovery of health. If your blood pressure is high, it becomes normal. If you are diabetes, it is resolved when taken as prescribed.

So why do you think you can go on doing water therapy every day in the morning? Do you want to burden your kidneys with too much work? 

The kind of treatment like drinking just a glass of water in the morning will never pose a challenge of ill-health. It always promoted good health.

Drink a glass of water as you rise; then go and brush your mouth and prepare your cup of tea or coffee.
Or you take a dilute fruit juice of your favorite fruits. I prefer 100% whole fruit juice.

The Limiting Capacity Of The Kidney

The kidney is a small pair of bean-shape structure located in the chest. One of its main functions is to regulate the water contents of the body. It has its limit in this and any other function like turning excesses of amino acid into urea and excreting wastes and poisons out of the body.

Over burden it with drinking too much water and the penalty can be death in extreme cases.
The kidneys can take only between 800 to 1,000 cl of water daily.

It is wise to limit your intake within this capacity as such. But much also depends on the body mass index or weight of the person. In other words, very fat person will need more water than a thin person. One advantage of this is that it will help the fat person to reduce the body weight.

Another is the amount of toxin accumulate in the body. Much water is need to dissolve and flush out these toxin wastes. If they stay long in the body, disease is the result.

So, I do not go on drinking four glass of water, or one litre of water daily very early in the morning. I still have not seen any good reason why I should do that.

I eat fruits and vegetables and there is much water in all these good stuffs. The carbohydrates, fats and proteins in my chop plate cooked with water. My soups have enough water. All these provide a way not to be dehydrated in the day in addition to the waters I sip during meals.

In very humid and cold conditions, there is enough water in the air; and when you breathe in the air is saturated with water. Even the external body or skin is kept most with the same water vapor. Taking in more glasses of water is begging for a health issue here.

Limit Your Drinking Of Water

Like as said before, every good thing has its limiting capacity including water. There was this saying water has its own level. A sensible person will stick with it at all times. 

Limiting drinking water becomes vital to avoid ill-health.

You do not want your body to be depleted of vital electrolysis elements (hypodrania), Chlorine, for example is so vital to the functioning of the body and the brain. If it is completely depleted along with others like sodium and potassium, water can enter your brain and it will swell which is fatal and can lead to death.
Drinking enough water within the kidney capacity eliminates risks of constipation. We know it keeps the stool moist and soft to freely move within the colon and to be reject at due time.

On the other hand, drinking excess of water when no condition of ill-health exists can lead to diahorrhoe, which is the opposite of constipation. One passes too much water along with the stool and is a concern as water is being lost from the body. In effect, the body is being de-hydrated due to this. A special sugar-salt solution to hold water in the body is called for. Just add a cube of sugar to 5g salt (half teaspoon) to 1 litre of water. Shake the mixture well. Take a glass of this hourly and it will solve the issue.
Special dehydrating salts exist on the counter and you can get it cheap at reasonable price without much trouble.

But be sure to follow well the instruction on the label in preparing the solution or trouble is the result.
Besides this treatment, go on a vegetable and fruit diet. Take on any of your favorite fruits and vegetables, including some dried nuts and fruit, and complex carbohydrates like wheat bread, brown or semi-polish rice. Cook the rice half done so that you can chew same thoroughly. This will help balance the water in the body.
Fruits in particular like cucumbers, papayas and sweet or water melons have natural electrolyte waters. Their many phytonutrients will make things right. Your health will be restored within a short time.

Do not drink water if taste but sip a mouthful. Or you can cut and squeezed a lemon into half a glass of water and drink this.
