When I wake up from the morning, my first thought is to drink a glass of water. Drinking water early in the morning should be a regular feature among all people, regardless of cultural background. Whether I am thirsty or not I drink at least 1 litre or roughly 5 glass of water. I do not drink this at a go. It takes me an interval of thirty minutes to drink 1 litre for three sets.
So, within
one and a half hours, I drink up the 1 litre of water and that is early in the
morning.
Taking just
1 litre at a go will cause problem hypodramia
or the depletion of electrolysis substances like sodium or potassium in
certain persons. At times, I cut a lime or lemon and squeezed same into the
last glass of water. It has a wonderful effect in the cleansing process. I wait
for 45-60 minutes before taking my breakfast.
Let me
illustrate a point here. Did you ever eat with the last eating sets without
washing them? Did you ever drink tea with the same sets you use without washing
them? Of course you do not. So your colon, especially the stomach needs to be
cleansed first thing in the morning as you wake up from sleep, right?
Let’s here
take a look at the animals and birds. Years ago I kept some fowls for supplying
meat to me and my household. When day break appears, the first thing I notice
is these birds drinking some waters before eating their grains. But we humans
will go for a wine or tea, or whatever fancy one, even a plate of instant salads.
I bet we are doing some wrong health to our body.
No wonder,
our body gets sick often. We call to see the doctor. He or she prescribed some
medication. We still carry on the wrong health path in our eating habit, when
we need to put first things first.
Ill-health
like any other thing else do not just happen. It is caused by many factors. On
the human part is negligence and ignorance.
Our stomach
needs time to cleansed itself and relax. It badly needs water in the first
place. So, drinking water very early in the morning is a personal responsibility.
If a mere bird will do such a thing, and if your domestic pets will do so too, how
much we humans on a higher level than mere birds and beasts!
Ayurdevic
therapy is this practice of drinking water very early in the morning. They say
it is an ancient Indian practice of treating ill-health by just drinking water.
It is also on record that the Japanese also practice similar remedy. All the
same, these two nations in the development of their medicine, I think has
observe for long this practice of animals and birds when these lesser beings
become ill and refused to eat any meal whether in the wild or domestic state.
We human beings too hardly can eat anything when we become very sick. We only
take on water.
Yes, water
has healing and cleansing power. It helps to rejuvenate our bodily system.
Every system of the body needs water because it is one element of the transport
system.
All these
has been observed for a long time and some culture do even took note of these
and “occult” it for a limited time only and that for professional practice.
Batmanghelidj Therapy
I think it
was the effort of Dr. Fereydon Batmanghelidj that brings the healing power of
water to the limelight.
He was a medical doctor trained in London, at St.
Mary’s Medical School. He was imprisoned in Iran for his political dissents. In
course of the imprisonment, it happens that he has to treat his fellow
prisoners. What the prison authority made available as drug is only water. To
the amazement of all, ulcers, cancer, pains and so on is cured.
After his
prison terms come to an end, he was released and he starts researching into
treatment of ill-health with water only. It was his efforts that demystify
treating sickness and disease by drinking water early in the morning.
It should be
not that the prison condition in which Dr. Batmanghelidj and his fellow
prisoners lodge is a nice place for being dehydrate any time. Hence the illness
the prisoners develop is dehydration and stress induced. Dr. Batmanghelidj as a
trained physician is in a position to note this well.
The Negative Power Of Dehydration
Dehydration
is a sign that all his not well with the body. It will show in one of many
forms. It can manifest as a fever or headache, or even pain that is not call
for. When this happens, we usually go to see the doctor. We are given a
prescription of synthetic medicine. But it is only a temporally relief.
At times,
the signal occurs after midnight while one is sleeping. I have experienced this
more than twice. I feel feverish and though it is fever. So from then on, I
begin to drink half a cup of water during midnight no matter what condition my
body is.
When you
were asleep at night the body start to dehydrate. It is said that the process
is slow, but it is also fast. Waking up at most twice to urinate is a sign of
losing water from the body. You loss water when you sweat. Suppose you had a
nightmare or terrifying dream, you sweat profusely and loss some water. All
these dehydrate the body and that is at the night when sleeping.
Have you ever
take note of the fact that at times in a very warm condition, you woke up with
your sleeping gown drenched wet in your sweat? How does this come about? You
are losing water from your body, right?
The Healing Power Of Water
It is now a
common knowledge that water has a function to play in the human body. We know
it has awesome cleansing power which purified the colon and internal organs,
especially the intestines or digestive tracts enabling same to absorb digested
food nutrients. Sugar, fatty acids, amino acids, vitamins A, B-complex, C, D, and
E; G, K, C1 and filtrate factors plus phytonutrients will now find a
ready medium to function well in the body.
The good
thing about all these is the formation of new blood cells and muscles cells.
This fresh
blood help cures some ailments in the body. For example, why do a western
trained medical physician prescribed iron capsules for a feverish sick patient?
The patients need a strong blood.
Ayurvedic or Japanese Therapy?
Ayurvedic is
drinking water early in the morning on rising up from sleep.
On waking up
from sleep, they are various ways in preparing for the day. Mine is prayers to
my God.
I would then
drink my early morning water just to flush my digestive tracts.
I always
begin with two glasses but now I can take 5 glasses or 1 litre on certain days.
I do not drink 1litre every day in the morning. But every day, I do drink at
least 2 glasses of water on rising from sleep before brushing my mouth.
At times I
cut a piece of lime fruit into the last glass. It helps in cleansing my colon a
little more extra.
It is now my
practice to drink at most four glass of water very early in the morning before
anything else and wait for an hour before breakfasting.
Then, I can
go on the day activity as normally as I can with health and energy.
If you drink
4 or 5 glass of water in the morning, you will be subject to urinating
frequently five times in the morning hours. This is normal. Your body is
passing out poison along with waste.
As this is
taking place, wait for 45-60 minutes before a breakfast, and after the
breakfast, do not drink water but you can sip a mouthful or have a warm cup of
tea, chocolate beverage or juice along with the breakfast.
You should
not eat for the next 2-3 hours, but later.
This is
where the Japanese water therapy will work for your good health.
Whatever you
eat after these 2 hours is up to you. Eat well. Eat a well nourishing snack
made up of fish, meat, legumes, complex starch or carbohydrates like rice,
whole wheat bread, fresh potatoes with their skin, fresh fruits and vegetables
plus nuts, especially peanuts or ground nuts. Add a glass of red wine as a plus
to your good health.
In the
Japanese water therapy, you only drink 4 glass of water unlike in the Ayurvedic
where 1litre or 5 cups is allowed.
Side Effects
Water is
life. Abusing it is begging for trouble. Drinking enough water to hydrate the
body is not a problem.
When you
over dose it serious water disease call hypodrania will result. This is the
depletion of sodium or any electrolysis element in the body. It will result in
water entering the brain and it can be very fatal.
Another bad
thing is that the kidneys will be over worked. So one should drink not more
than five glass in a day. It is best is one limits the maximum to just 4
glasses in the day.
After
drinking the 4-5 glass of water in the morning, do not drink more water again
